Massapequa Park resident Marjorie Alma Lander, a former professor at Nassau Community College, died Nov. 27, 2010 at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola. She was 81. She was born Jan. 31, 1929 to Franz Henri and Ethel (Craig) Lehry in East Rockaway, Queens. In addition to caring for her family and home, she taught at Nassau Community College.
