Last month, Cub Scouts from Dens 1 and 2 of Pack 5 took a tour of the Massapequa Post to see how a weekly newspaper is published. They learned about the various jobs people do and what their roles and responsibilities are. They discussed journalistic ethics and learned how reporters put stories together every week. Those attending were Brian Smocovich, Richie Schwartz, Nicolas Palumbo, Christopher Sieck, Greg Reed, Louis Belmonte, Adam Totter and Chris Mott.
