The following incidents have been reported by the Nassau County Police Department’s Seventh and Eighth Precincts and other law enforcement agencies

GRAND LARCENY

North Massapequa: Sometime between 11 p.m., May 2, and 6 a.m., May 3, someone broke a window on a car parked on North Utica Avenue and stole sunglasses, a first aid kit and loose change from the vehicle.

Massapequa: Police reported that on May 7, sometime prior to 11 p.m., someone stole a wallet from inside a car parked on Central Avenue. The wallet was said to contain a New York State driver’s license, and credit cards.

PETIT LARCENY

Massapequa: A license plate was taken off a trailer parked on Massachusetts Avenue May 1 sometime between midnight and 10 a.m.

•On May 5, sometime prior between noon and 5 p.m., someone swiped a license plate off a car parked at Burns Park on Merrick Road.

Farmingdale: An unknown person stole a bicycle from an Elizabeth Street location. The bike was taken sometime between 11 p.m., may 5 and 8 a.m., May 6.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Massapequa Park: The rear window of a car parked on Saint Regis Drive was shattered sometime between 10 p.m., May 5 and 9 a.m., May 6,

ARRESTS

DWI: The following persons have been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated or impaired: Spirid Kourkoumelis, 51, of Flushing; Hugh E. Reynolds, 54, of Queens Village; Mariano Rodriguez-Garcia, 42, of Brooklyn; Josip Zoric, 41, of Ridgewood.

The charges against those arrested are allegations, and the cases are still pending in the courts. Individuals charged and whose names appear in this column may submit documentation to us at a later date that the charges have been dismissed or that they have been found innocent and we will include that information in this space in a timely manner.
