The Nassau County Police Department’s Seventh and Eighth Precincts and other law enforcement agencies reported the following incidents:


Massapequa: A package delivered by the United States Postal Service to a Euclid Avenue hone Dec. 5 was stolen sometime before 8 a.m. The contents of the package were not disclosed.

•Someone removed a package delivered to the front of a residence on Roosevelt Boulevard between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 .m. Dec. 21.


Massapequa: Sometime between 10:30 p.m., Dec. 12 and 9 a.m., Dec. 13, someone made 12 punctures into the driver’s side front tire of a car parked on Riviera Drive South.

•The front passenger side window of a woman’s car parked at the Fit Club on Sunrise Highway was broken Dec. 16, sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 10:05 a.m.

•Someone damaged a vehicle that was parked on Violet Street. The damage, the extent of which was not disclosed by police, occurred between 11 p.m., Dec. 24 and 7:25 a.m., Dec. 25.


DWI: The following persons have been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated or impaired: Jonathan Cauvil, 25, of Hempstead; Jose A. Ramirez, 42, of Brentwood; Roy Manson, 31, of Laurelton; Habib Rahman, 20, of Valley Stream; Gabriela Cabrera, 30, of Hempstead; Ramadeerie Parmanand, 57, of Valley Stream; Cesar Flores, 26, of Westbury; Lewis Turner, 3,2 of Manhasset; Michael S. Haner, 28, of Valley Stream; Phylicia A. Williams, 26 of Freeport; Erica E. Horning, 41, of Hewlett; Carlos A. Persaud, 31, of Valley Stream; Joseph J. DeCicco, 61, of Manhasset; Jacklyn K. Shelley, 24, of Oceanside; Vincent C. Smith III, 31, of Baldwin; Brett Shankar Hemraj, 24, of Selden; Dominque Corozzo, 25, of Glen Head.

The charges against those arrested are allegations, and the cases are still pending in the courts. Individuals charged and whose names appear in this column may submit documentation to us at a later date that the charges have been dismissed or that they have been found innocent and we will include that information in this space in a timely manner.
