The following incidents have been reported by the Nassau County Police Department’s Seventh and Eighth Precincts and other Law Enforcement Agencies

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Farmingdale: At about 3:15 p.m. Sept. 2, a Hampshire Drive resident told police that someone had broken two glass lanterns outside his home.

Massapequa Park: Sometime between 11 a.m., Aug. 22 and 1 p.m., Sept. 4, someone damaged the front door at a Lake Shore Drive home.

Massapequa: A local woman reported to police that on Sept. 1, someone broke the rear windshield of her car while it was parked at the Sunrise Mall on Sunrise Highway. The incident took place between 2 p.m. and 6:55 p.m.

ARRESTS

DWI: The following persons have been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated or impaired: Ismael J. Otero, 26, of Wyandanch; Gladys Marjorie Ruiz- Gomez, 27, of Hempstead; Juan Y. Oliva-Galdamez, 46, of West Lawn; Anthony LaRocca, 33, of Island Park; Steve M. Bason, 60, of Levittown; Ruth N. Escobar-Galeas, 24, of Westbury; Jorge Juarez, 33, of Inwood; Anthony J. Tretter, 22, of Oceanside; Ernesto Y. Han, 42, of Jericho; Lamarre Jean Marcus, 28, of Great Neck; Jose Vincente Marquez-Remache, 44, of Rockville County.

The charges against those arrested are allegations, and the cases are still pending in the courts. Individuals charged and whose names appear in this column may submit documentation to us at a later date that the charges have been dismissed or that they have been found innocent and we will include that information in this space in a timely manner.
