ARREST IN THEFTS FROM CARS PARKED IN CEMETERIES

Farmingdale: Suffolk County Police First Precinct Crime Section officers arrested a woman for multiple thefts from different vehicles parked at a cemetery in Farmingdale. First Precinct Crime Section officers were investigating numerous larcenies that occurred at cemeteries in Farmingdale between April and July in 2018. After a thorough investigation, officers discovered that Tiffany Radford was responsible for the thefts. Radford targeted unlocked vehicles as their occupants were at a gravesite.

Radford was arrested at the First Precinct, located at 555 Route 109, in Farmingdale, at approximately 2:20 p.m. She was charged with four counts of Petit Larceny for thefts from vehicles parked at Saint Charles Cemetery, located at 2015 Wellwood Ave., on April 21, June 17, June 30 and July 15, 2018.

Radford, 30, of Farmingdale, is also suspected of being involved in other larcenies that occurred at Saint Charles Cemetery and at Pinelawn Memorial Park, located at 2030 Wellwood Ave., Farmingdale. Anyone who believes they may be a victim of this crime is asked to call First Precinct Crime Section officers at 631-854-8132. Anyone with additional information asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

Residents are reminded to always lock their vehicles and keep valuables out of sight.

GRAND LARCENY

South Farmingdale: A set of license plates were stolen sometime before 2 p.m. on July 25 from a car parked on Spruce Street.

PETIT LARCENY

Massapequa: Police reported that on July 26, sometime between 10:35 and 11:30 a.m. someone swiped an unattended cell phone from a woman at a Sunrise Highway McDonalds restaurant.

•On July 25, sometime prior to 10 p.m., someone stole a C-PAP machine from a driveway on Merrick Road. Police said the machine was unattended at the time of the theft.

ARRESTS

DWI: The following persons have been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated or impaired: William C. miller, 54, of Glen Cove; Shannon Henry, 30, of Seaford; Michael P. Crichton, 40, of Deer Park; Timothy J. Hearty, 50, of East Meadow; Robert M. Kogel, 67, of Great Neck; Keith B. Backer, 38, of Baldwin; Hak Kwon Noh, 46, of Plainview; Duina T. Arrecis, 48, of Roosevelt; Diana LeBlanc, 34, of Ogdensburg; Ubaldino Efrain Perez Espino, 30, of Freeport; John C. Dolan, 23, of Glenwood Landing.

The charges against those arrested are allegations, and the cases are still pending in the courts. Individuals charged and whose names appear in this column may submit documentation to us at a later date that the charges have been dismissed or that they have been found innocent and we will include that information in this space in a timely manner.
