The following incidents have been reported by the Nassau County Police Department’s Seventh and Eighth Precincts and other law enforcement agencies

GRAND LARCENY

North Massapequa: On Jan. 25, sometime prior to 8:15 p.m., someone broke into a North Summit Drive woman’s car by smashing the passenger side window and stole her Kate Spade purse containing various items.

PETIT LARCENY

Massapequa Park: A woman at Taste Restaurant on Merrick Road had her Louis Vuitton bag stolen. The incident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 25.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Massapequa Park: Sometime between 11 p.m., Jan. 24 and 2 p.m., Jan. 25, someone damaged the passenger side door of a car parked on Oak Street.

Massapequa: A Bayview Avenue woman reported to police that on Jan. 27 shortly before 3:35 p.m. someone had keyed her car.

ARRESTS

DWI. The following persons have been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated or impaired: Juan Rivas, 29, of Long Beach; Dimitri Clinton, 30, of Floral Park; Alvin N. Guiness, 40, of Rosedale; Sylvia Sandeen-Artemchuk, 65, of Greenvale; Kristina Niebergall, 41, of New Hyde Park; Rodolfo Aguilar- Jimenez, 41, of Port Washington.

The charges against those arrested are allegations, and the cases are still pending in the courts. Individuals charged and whose names appear in this column may submit documentation to us at a later date that the charges have been dismissed or that they have been found innocent and we will include that information in this space in a timely manner.
